AccommodationThere are two guest cottages on Round Island, 'Curlew' and 'Sandpiper' which are located close to the pier and beach. Both cottages underwent refurbishment in 2009, and enjoy fully equipped kitchens with electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher and lounge areas where televisions, and DVD players are provided. Telephone and Fax facilities are available. From the lounges of both cottages, double doors lead out to their own patio and bbq areas, together with 'wet rooms' separate from the Cottages that provide an excellent shower and equipment storage facility. Sandpiper CottageSandpiper sleeps a maximum of 8 people. The cottage has a spacious kitchen with seating area and a lounge with double doors to the patio and garden. The lounge has a television with DVD player. The sleeping accommodation consists of a double bedded room and two twin bedded rooms upstairs together with a very attractive ground floor double bedroom with ensuite shower room which is ideal for those who prefer not to cope with stairs.
● Sleeps a maximum of 8 persons Curlew CottageCurlew sleeps a maximum of 6 persons. The cottage enjoys a fully equipped kitchen with a large lounge/dining room with double doors onto the patio and BBQ area. Upstairs, the accommodation extends to a large double bedded room, (4'6" bed), a twin bedded room and a smaller twin bedded room more suitable for children.
● Sleeps a maximum of 6 persons A bag of charcoal is provided with the BBQs and electricity is included. We provide pillows, duvets, under pillowcases and mattress covers, however we ask that you bring your own top pillowcases, bottom sheet and duvet cover for each bed. We can provide duvet covers upon request. Tea towels are provided, but please bring personal and beach towels. A cot and highchair can be provided on request. Unfortunately we cannot permit Guests to bring pets onto the Island. |
