Beecham Lodge is a wooden clad chalet situated in a quiet elevated position with a southerly aspect. Being on one level it is suitable for elderly or infirm guests but not suitable for young children due to the steep drop off the patio. The patio is large, in a usually sheltered position and with wonderful views across the harbour to the other islands and Poole.
Beecham Lodge sleeps a maximum of 4 people.
The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, one with an en suite shower room, a separate shower room, sitting room, galley kitchen and conservatory/dining room. Duvets, pillows, under pillow cases and mattress covers are provided, but guests are requested to bring personal bedding and towels. The en suite bedroom has a 5’ bed and the other bedroom has a 4’6” bed.
Beecham Lodge was so-called as Sir Thomas Beecham stayed on the Island and it was always believed in the Lodge. However, recent research has revealed that he and Lady Beecham stayed in the Main House.
