Our Caretaker Steve will take you on the 20 minute trip across Poole Harbour to Round Island. The boat will be waiting for you in the Marina, and there are trolleys under the Club House steps to transport your luggage down the pontoon to the boat. Steve will assist you. Our boat, Arripay, has ample room for luggage and passengers!
Our mainland base is at Lake Yard Marina, 45 Lake Drive, Poole. BH15 4DT.
There is one car parking permit included in the cost of each cottage booked. On arrival at Lake Yard we ask that Guests make their way to the Lake Yard office which is located on the 1st floor of the Club House building, in order to get your permit and be directed on where to park.
We ask Guests to contact Lake Yard Marina a week before your stay in order to request any more parking permits, (01202 674531). If they are unable to offer more permits, there is plenty of on-street parking in the surrounding roads.
